Advantage Resourcing announced today it completed the acquisition of Atlan Resource Solutions, a U.K.-based firm that provides engineering and information technology staffing.

The buy includes all of Atlan's current operations with offices in Winchester, England; London; and Sale, England. It also includes an additional 100,000 square feet of managed hosting and data center operations in the U.K.

Atlan reported revenue of GBP38.0 million (US$55.9 million) in its fiscal year ended April 2009.

The acquisition "builds on our core strength and reputation in several important markets including energy, data center management and information technology," said Jim Klauber, president of Advantage Technical Resourcing.

Privately held Advantage Resourcing was formerly Radia Holdings, which ranked No. 7 on Staffing Industry Analysts' 2009 list of largest global staffing firms. Its major shareholder is Promontoria Investments I BV, a joint venture controlled by Morgan Stanley and Cerberus Capital Management LLC. Advantage Resourcing has operations in Asia, the U.S. and Europe.
