Adecco SA, the world's largest staffing firm, said revenue fell 3% in the first two months of the third quarter, excluding the impact of trading days, currency and acquisitions. The company made the announcement today during its investor event in New York.

Adecco said it believes weak markets will continue in the United States and Canada for the remainder of the year, and markets will decelerate further in Europe and Japan.
