Adecco promotes Pontoon execs

June 19, 2015

Pontoon announced Nicole Burth, currently CFO and head of EMEA for Pontoon, will take the role of country manager of Switzerland within Adecco, effective Sept. 1. Pontoon will promote Klaus Geiser to CFO and Terri Manley to head of EMEA delivery, also effective Sept. 1. Each will be a member of Pontoon’s leadership team and report to President Mike Wachholz.

Pontoon, a division of Adecco, provides a managed service provider offering and recruitment process outsourcing services. It is based in Jacksonville, Fla.

Geiser has been with Adecco since 2005 and joined Pontoon when it launched in January 2013. Prior to the CFO promotion, Geiser served as financial controller for the Americas, based in Jacksonville. Earlier in his career with Adecco, Geiser held positions within international finance and M&A. Most recently, he served as the financial controller for EMEA and APAC within Adecco Solutions, the predecessor of Pontoon, from 2010 to 2013.

“Klaus has successfully led our Americas finance team since the inception of Pontoon,” said Wachholz. “His knowledge of our clients and international finance expertise will continue to benefit Pontoon, and I am privileged to work closely with Klaus in our global business.”

Manley is currently senior VP of business development for Pontoon in EMEA. Manley has been with Adecco since 2006 and with Pontoon since its inception in 2013. She formerly led business development in the Americas and most recently, in Europe. Prior to joining Pontoon, Manley joined Adecco Solutions in 2010 after leading the strategic accounts team for Adecco Staffing North America.

“Terri has been instrumental in leading our new client wins and program expansions in EMEA,” said Wachholz. “She has proven herself as an effective leader, relationship manager and collaborator — illustrated by our recent surge in European business. I am excited to see Terri and Tom Mason, head of EMEA sales, build upon their trusted partnership and lead our continued growth in the region.”

Burth joined Adecco Group in 2005 as head of investor relations and special projects. She replaces Michael Agoras, CEO of Adecco Switzerland, who will step down at the end of July.

“I am very pleased for Nicole and her new assignment,” said Wachholz. “She has been and will remain a trusted partner and friend. On behalf of Pontoon, I want to thank her for all that she has done, and wish her the very best in her new role at Adecco.”
