Adecco completed the merger of its London-based hyphen division — an MSP and RPO provider — with its Pontoon division, effective Jan. 1.

Pontoon is based in Jacksonville, Fla., and provides managed service provider and recruitment process outsourcing services. It will now serve as the global HR outsourcing brand for Adecco Group, the world’s largest staffing firm.

“Professional Staffing and Solutions, which includes HR outsourcing, is a key strategic priority for the Adecco Group,” said Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze. “The merger of our leading HR outsourcing businesses, Pontoon and hyphen, strengthens global brand awareness for Pontoon and fosters even greater focus on further expanding our leading position in a growing market.”

Following the previously announced merger, Pontoon counts close to 1,500 employees. The merger also solidifies Pontoon's presence in EMEA market and strengthens its position in the UK, where hyphen previously operated for Adecco.
