Adecco completes MPS buy

Adecco SA announced today it completed its acquisition of MPS Group Inc.

"Our businesses nicely complement each other and joining forces represents an investment in strengthening both of our portfolios or service to place us in the best position to take full advantage of the economic recovery," Adecco CEO Tig Gilliam said.

MPS, a Jacksonville FL-based professional staffing firm, ranked No. 13 on Staffing Industry Analysts' most recent list of largest U.S. staffing firms by revenue. MPS also operates the Beeline vendor management system. Switzerland-based Adecco ranked No. 2 in the U.S., but is the largest staffing firm in the world by global revenue.

Adecco is paying MPS shareholders $13.80 per share for an enterprise value of euro782.0 million (US$1.17 billion).
