Adecco announces personnel, committee changes

Adecco SA, the world's largest staffing firm, announced its chief business development and marketing officer, Annalisa Gigante, will leave the company and that Alain Dehaze has come on board. Dehaze serves as regional head of Northern Europe and on the company's executive committee.

Adecco also announced that it expanded its executive committee. It now includes Patrick De Maeseneire, CEO; Dominik de Daniel, CFO; Christian Vasino, chief human resources officer; Sergio Picarelli, chief sales officer, Fancois Davy, regional head of France, Switzerland and India; Tig Gilliam, regional head of North America; Dehaze; Mark du Ree, regional head of Japan and Asia; Andreas Dinges, regional head of Germany and Austria; Federico Vione, regional head of Italy and Eastern Europe; Enrique Sanchez, regional head of Iberia and South America; and Peter Searle, regional head of U.K. and Ireland. Searle, who is now CEO of Spring Group, will be offered the position of regional head of U.K. and Ireland after Adecco closes its deal to acquire Spring.

Adecco's executive committee had just six members in 2008, according to the company's annual report.
