Adecco Invests $1.5 Million in ‘eHarmony for jobs’

April 24, 2012

Adecco S.A., the world’s largest staffing provider, invested $1.5 million in a new online job site that aims to be the “eHarmony for jobs.” The site is Path.to and currently serves only the San Francisco Bay Area. It also focuses exclusively on information technology jobs such as interactive design and software engineering.

The job site features a compatibility score to match people with jobs.

“We are doing for hiring what eHarmony did for online dating,” said Darren Bounds, founder of Path.to. “We get a much deeper understanding of an applicant’s personality and professional background, and combine it with our knowledge of a company’s culture and needs to match the right person for the right job.”

Path.to plans to roll out in other markets during 2012 including Chicago and New York.
