Adecco Elects New Board Member

April 24, 2012

Adecco S.A. shareholders elected Dominique-Jean Chertier to its board of directors, replacing Jakob Baer. The vote was today at Adecco’s annual meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. Baer did not stand for re-election; he had served on the board since October 2004.

Other members of Adecco’s board were re-elected for one-year terms.

Chertier has been a member of the board of directors for Air France since 2004, and he was chairman of the French employment and unemployment national agency (Pole Emploi) from 2008 to 20011. He also served as social advisor to the French prime minister from 1992 to 2002. In addition, he served as executive vice president of the Safran Group from 2003 to 2011.
