Adecco: 63% View Temp Jobs More Favorably

January 31, 2012

A survey by Adecco Group found that 63 percent of Americans view temporary jobs more favorably today than they did last year. The survey also found that 86 percent of Americans believe a temporary job is a good career option for those seeking to gain work experience.

The survey also found that 27 percent of Americans plan to look for a new job in 2012, down from 30 percent in 2011. However, despite 30 percent saying they planned to look for a new job in 2011, just 16 percent actually started a new job.

The Adecco survey polled 1,014 American adults by phone and took place between Jan. 12 and Jan. 15.

Adecco ranks as the world’s largest staffing firm.
