Addison Search, a Chicago-based professional staffing firm, announced Monday that Thomas Moran, former chief executive officer of Mastech Holdings Inc. (AMEX: MHH), will join the company as CEO.
Moran has more than 23 years of experience in the professional staffing industry. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Mastech Holdings, a Pittsburgh-based information technology and healthcare staffing firm. He left Mastech last month after serving as its president and CEO since July 2009.
Moran also previously served as president and chief executive officer of Hudson Highland Group Inc.’s (NASD: HHGP) Americas division. After Hudson, he served as CEO partner for Frontenac Company Inc., a private equity firm.
“I am very excited about leading the team at Addison Search,” Moran said. “I have worked with many strong companies and teams over my career, and believe that the strength of the Addison Search team, brand and offerings provides a tremendous platform to grow our business organically and through strategic acquisitions.”
Addison Search was ranked as one of the fastest growing staffing firms by Staffing Industry Analysts from 2006 through 2009.
The Chicago Tribune newspaper reported last month Addison Search settled a lawsuit against its former chief executive, Joel Katz. For that story, click here.
