Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP, a Sacramento CA-based accounting firm, said it acquired Moreland & Associates Inc., an accounting and temporary staffing firm that specializes in serving government and nonprofit organizations. Moreland is based in Newport Beach CA.

Macias Gini & O'Connell has six offices throughout California. The deal is expected to help expand service offerings in Southern California.
