Accountable Healthcare Staffing Inc., a Boca Raton, Fla.-based healthcare staffing provider, promoted Chad Blackson to president of its travel healthcare division. The newly created position is a result of the merger of Accountable’s travel nurse and travel allied business units.

 Blackson joined Accountable in September 2012 as VP of recruitment-travel nurse division and most recently served as VP of the travel nurse division.

“Chad has exhibited great energy and leadership skills in growing Accountable’s travel nurse division,” said Chairman and CEO Robert Adamson. “While the entirety of our business has shown exceptionally strong organic growth, Accountable’s travel nurse division grew even faster.”

Blackson will oversee all of Accountable’s travel healthcare business units. The units currently generate nearly $100 million of the company’s annualized revenue run rate, most of which are travel nurse revenues.

“While Chad headed up our travel nurse operations with offices located in Tulsa, Dallas and Boston, its revenues for the nine months ended September 2015 grew organically more than 40% over the prior year period,” said President Kevin Little. “Accountable has recently invested significantly in growing its travel healthcare recruitment efforts and we are all confident that Chad will continue to excel."
