Accountabilities revenue falls 10%

Accountabilities Inc. (OTCBB: ACBT.OB), a New York-based staffing firm, reported revenue fell 9.7% to $57.0 million in its fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2009, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company cited the overall economic decline as the main reason for the decrease in revenue.

Gross margin narrowed to 12.9% in fiscal 2009 from 13.6% in the previous year.

Accountabilities posted a net loss of $878,000 in fiscal 2009 compared with a net loss of $683,000 in fiscal 2008.

The company provides industrial as well as office/clerical staffing. Accountabilities plans to no longer offer finance/accounting staffing services.

The company also reported in its 10-K that it moved its headquarters to New York City on Nov. 27 from Manalapan NJ.
