Access Nurses launches nurse television network

Access Nurses announced the launch of www.NurseTV.com, an Internet television network dedicated to nurses and the nursing community. San Diego CA-based Access Nurses provides travel, per diem, contract and permanent nurses nationwide.

"We hope that NurseTV.com will give the general public a realistic window into the lives of nurses and encourage more people to join the profession," said Alan Braynin, CEO of Access Nurses.

NurseTV.com will feature original video programming on a variety of nursing and healthcare topics, including news updates, interviews, profiles and feature stories, clinical information, travel nursing, as well as coverage of events and conference

Television journalist Matthew Glasser, who spent the last few years covering the healthcare and consumer beat for the San Diego CBS affiliate will serve as executive producer of NurseTV.com.

Access Nurses' first media venture, "13 Weeks," a reality show about six traveling nurses on assignment in Southern California has received 3.5 million visits on the Web. "13 Weeks" will also be available for viewing on NurseTV.com.
