Accenture names group chief executives

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) appointed Stephen Rohleder to the newly created position of group chief executive – North America. Daniel London will replace Rohleder as group chief executive of the company’s health and public service operating group. The changes at the management consulting, technology services and outsourcing firm take effect June 1.

Rohleder will oversee Accenture’s business in the United States, the company’s largest market, as well as Canada. Rohleder has been group chief executive of the company’s health and public service operating group since 2009 and previously was Accenture’s chief operating officer from 2004 to 2009. He is a member of Accenture’s global management committee.

London has been senior managing director for health and public service in North America since 2009, responsible for serving government departments and agencies, as well as healthcare payers and providers. He previously was managing director of Accenture’s finance and performance management global service line. London will join Accenture’s global management committee in his new role.
