The American Staffing Association released a set of best practices for staffing firms and staffing buyers to help reduce their risks when dealing with vendor management systems and managed services providers. The information comes as the industry continues to feel the effects of the collapse of Ensemble Chimes Global, the defunct firm at one time operated the largest VMS.

The ASA's set of best practices includes financial warning signs to look for, information on checking the financial integrity of a VMS or MSP and best payment practices.
