AMN Executive to Lead ASA Board

October 12, 2012

Bob Livonius, president of strategic workforce solutions at AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), was elected to chairman of the board for the American Staffing Association. It’s the first time a healthcare staffing company executive has been named to the position.

Livonius, AMN president of Strategic Workforce Solutions, previously served as first vice-chairman of the 24-person ASA board of directors.

In addition to maintaining the association’s focus on strong and effective legal and legislative advocacy at the state and federal levels, Livonius plans to continue developing best practices for ASA members, growing its membership and expanding the group's data reach.

“ASA has been known for years as the respected source of data that supports the use of temporary help,” he said. “I would like to see us enhance the richness, breadth and depth of that data.”

The induction took place in Las Vegas during the ASA’s annual meeting at Staffing World 2012.

AMN ranks as the largest provider of healthcare staffing in the U.S.
