AIM Consulting Group announces merger

AIM Consulting Group, a provider of information technology staffing and solutions, announced a merger with Sage IT Services.

Sage, a Bellevue WA-based IT staffing and solutions firm, will operate under the AIM Consulting Group brand. The deal closed on June 2; terms of the transaction were not announced.

"The merger is a growth strategy based on delivering a greater breadth of specialized services to our customers, expanding nationwide customer support and enhancing career opportunities for all of our employees," said Bill VanSickle, co-founder of AIM and CEO of the new organization.

There are no plans for staff reductions as a result of the merger.

AIM Consulting Group is based in Chicago; it anticipates revenue of more than $25 million for 2010.
