Atlanta-based staffing firm 1st Choice Staffing acquired Staff Right Inc., according to an announcement Tuesday by investment banking firm Houlihan Smith & Co. Inc. Staff Right provides industrial and office/clerical staffing, and has offices in Dallas, Houston and McKinney TX. Terms of the deal were not announced. Staff Right posted revenue of more than $9 million in 2008.

The deal took place in the fourth quarter.

1st Choice focuses on inside sales, customer service, industrial, banking and packaging facilities staffing. It has 400-plus workers staffed at more than 100 companies, according to the announcement. Staff Right has more than 1,000 workers at various companies in Texas.

"This acquisition allows us to establish a significant presence in the Texas market and extend our national reach," said 1st Choice CEO Raymond Clawson.

Houlihan Smith Managing Director Reginald McGaugh led the transaction.
