Rising index points to U.S. job growth

The Conference Board's U.S. employment trends index rose to a reading of 95.3 in February from 93.2 in January.

"The continued rise in the [employment trends index] suggests that job growth is about to begin," said Gad Levanon, associate director of macroeconomic research at The Conference Board.

Worldwide executive search revenue fell 32.5% in 2009 to $7.43 billion from 2008 revenue of $11.0 billion, according to a new report by the Association of Executive Search Consultants.
