Government lowers final GDP estimate

U.S. real gross domestic product decreased at an annual rate of 6.3% in the fourth quarter, according to the final estimate released today by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The decline is higher than the last preliminary estimate of 6.2%. In the third quarter, real GDP decreased 0.5%.
