U.S. temporary help payrolls rose by 16,800 jobs in August, according to seasonally adjusted numbers released today by the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics. In addition, July's loss in temporary employment was revised up to a loss of only 900 jobs instead of the 5,600 initially reported.
