In the week ended Feb. 9, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 348,000, a decrease of 9,000, or 2.5%, from the previous week's revised figure of 357,000. The four-week moving average was 347,250, an increase of 12,000 from the previous week's revised average of 335,250.
