Singapore Conference Attracts Contingent Labour Professionals from Across the Globe
Mountain View, Calif – November 4, 2013 - Staffing Industry Analysts, the global advisor on contingent work, today announced it will host its inaugural Asia-Pacific conference, Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Summit – Singapore, 13-14 November 2013. The conference, to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, will host professionals from more than 100 different companies representing 13 countries and feature discussions on contingent workforce strategies of organisations based in the Asia-Pacific region.
The two-day conference presents an exceptional opportunity for stakeholders from the contingent labour ecosystem, from general managers to HR and procurement professionals, to collaborate and discuss the management of flexible labour and recruitment outsourcing services. Touching all aspects of managing temporary labour, the agenda will include a mix of technical and business-oriented sessions providing best practices, advice and first-hand knowledge from local and global experts. The CWS Summit has been held in the U.S. for the past nine years and began in Europe in 2008.
“CWS Summit in Singapore will address the local strategies needed for successfully managing contingent labour issues in the Asia-Pacific region, including labour shortages,” said Barry Asin, president of Staffing Industry Analysts.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Peter Cappelli, recognised as one of the world’s most important authorities on human capital, will discuss talent management in “Talent on Demand - The Future of Workplace Flexibility and Talent Acquisition in an Uncertain World.” Capelli will provide insights on the talent management problem and provide ideas and tools to ensure organisations have the skills they need, when they need them.
In addition to the conference sessions, there will be an exhibition to showcase sponsors, networking opportunities, as well as two separate roundtable discussions on regional issues and techniques and strategies, designed to enable delegates to have group discussions and meet colleagues with similar interests.
Registration fee for the conference is $695 for CWS council members and $895 for non-members. Registration fees include all meals and functions listed on the agenda. To register, go to www.cwssummitap.com.
